OTHER FAMILY EVENTS & ACTIVITIES
The Circle of Hearts Board and Volunteers are always looking at ways to connect families through events and activities. Some of these activities have included the following....
Summer PicNic

​In the past we have gathered our families in July or August for a get together at St Vital Park where we've enjoyed kids games and activities, bbq and snack and a chance to connect and socialize.
Winter Fundraiser
​
Our main fundraiser of the year normally takes place in February as a 'bud spud' or 'social' type of event. All funds raised with this event help support our various programs.​
Fall AGM & Hayride
​​​
The past few years we have enjoyed some great outdoor weather for a family fun hayride at Birds Hill Park, followed by lunch over an open fire while we take care of some business, our Annual General Meeting.
Breakfast with Santa

Every December we invite all families out to enjoy a buffet breakfast, holiday activities and entertainment, and a visit from the jolly man himself where he hands out gifts to all the kids in attendance.
Education & Support
​​​
We are also considering ways that we can help our families with education and support such as hosting first aid or CPR courses, or presentations that help our families better understand and cope with their challenging situations.
